50 Years of Women in Engineering

In 2024, the UND SWE marks 50 years since its charter. We invite all Engineering and Mines alumni to celebrate with us on September 13-15, 2024.

Attendees are invited to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on UND’s Campus

A block of rooms have been reserved for the anniversary celebration. Additionally, the Hilton Garden Inn will host the 50 years of SWE Celebration banquet.

Celebration of Women Engineering Schedule

A schedule for the weekend’s events

Student Showcase and Dinner: Join us in the Collaborative Energy Center 6:00pm to 8:00pm to kick off the reunion celebration. ($15)

Potato Bowl Parade: The parade starts at 9:00am. We will line-up at 8:30am; the location is TBD. Come walk or ride with SWE’s float!

Baked Potato Lunch and Group Photo: Lunch will be served at 11:30am in the Collaborative Energy Center. ($15)

Tailgating: Alumni are invited to visit the alumni tent while tailgating before the game.

Potato Bowl Football Game: Kickoff is a 1:00pm. Cheer on UND against the Idaho State Bengals. ($13)

Campus Tour: Join us for a tour of UND’s campus starting in the Collaborative Energy Center at 4:30pm.

50 years of Women in Engineering Celebratory Banquet: Join us at 6:00pm for an evening celebrating UND SWE’s history and women in engineering from UND. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Dinner options include a baked chicken breast (GF) and fettuccine alfredo (vegetarian). The banquet will last until 11:00pm. ($40)

Farewell Breakfast: Join us at the Wilkerson Dining Center at 9:00am for a breakfast to conclude the week. ($13)
